A constantly evolving work community
Motivated automation professionals and teams working towards common goals
Kaptas as an employer
Kaptas is a workplace where no two days are alike. Our employees get to work on exciting and technically challenging automation projects, solving unique customer problems while using the latest technologies in the field — including robotics, machine vision, simulation, and AI.
Through problem-solving, we directly influence how efficiently industries such as pharmaceuticals can manufacture their products, and how high-tech companies across sectors produce, package, and inspect their goods.
Our work also plays a role in society by helping ensure the safety and quality of products like medicines and food for end users.
Continuous learning and international opportunities
Working at Kaptas requires a genuine interest in problem-solving and a desire to continuously develop one’s expertise. The automation industry is constantly evolving, and we strive to be among the first to adopt the latest innovations.
We encourage our employees to pursue continuous learning. Many of our employees have completed advanced studies alongside their work — particularly in the technical faculties of universities and universities of applied sciences. Scientific research is also carried out within the company, especially in fields such as AI applications.
Depending on the project, there may also be opportunities to travel abroad. Even without travel, you’ll work on exciting assignments together with major international companies.
A continuously developing work community
Kaptas aims to be a fair and respected employer — one that listens to employees’ ideas and continuously improves its operations. For example, we collect employees’ development suggestions annually and make them visible to everyone, so that the staff can follow how the suggestions are being handled and how improvements are being made at Kaptas.
Employee surveys show that Kaptas is a good place to work, with motivated professionals who enjoy what they do.
While the work can sometimes be hectic and stressful, we tackle challenges together — and no one is left alone with a problem.
We support employee well-being with flexible working arrangements that make it easier to balance work with personal life, studies, or family responsibilities. Remote work is also possible when project schedules and situations allow.
We regularly collect feedback from our employees through the Addtech Group’s employee survey.
We also aim to increase employee involvement in decision-making. For example, half of our leadership team consists of employee representatives.
What we offer our employees

We strive to provide a comfortable work environment, flexible working conditions, competitive salaries, and a wide range of employee benefits.
- Our goal is for every employee to have the opportunity to develop their skills and take on more demanding tasks (e.g., progressing from a team member to a team leader) as new roles open within the company. We also offer training in new technologies when possible. The Addtech Academy provides additional training, particularly for salespeople and project managers.
- We offer competitive salaries that grow with added responsibilities.
- Our employees enjoy flexible working hours and partial remote work options, making it easier to balance work, family life, or studies. It’s also possible to accumulate extra vacation days in addition to statutory holidays.
- Our staff have access to the latest software and professional-quality tools. We also invest in ergonomic workstations.
- Managers, project leaders, and some specialist roles receive a phone benefit (including a phone and mobile plan).
- All employees are entitled to lunch, sport and culture benefits (via Epassi), as well as a bike benefit (EpassiBIKE).
- Free charging is available at our facilities for employees who drive electric vehicles.
- Workwear is provided for employees working in installation, assembly, or maintenance roles.
- Occupational healthcare includes basic services and extended health insurance that covers medical expenses for illnesses and accidents beyond what workplace health services typically cover.
In addition to these benefits, we organize recreational activities such as social events. We also aim to reward employees for successful projects.
To brighten everyday life, we regularly offer treats like weekly coffee breaks with treats or pizza and cake to celebrate successes! 🙂
