3D printing services for automation projects
We offer 3D printing services related to our automation projects.
3D printing is one form of additive manufacturing (AM), where an object or machine part is created layer by layer based on a digital model designed with CAD software.
3D printers use various materials, such as plastic, metal, composites, or even biological materials, to create physical objects layer by layer.
AM manufacturing means creating parts by adding material in larger batches, such as in industrial mass production.
AM methods differ from traditional subtractive manufacturing processes, such as milling, where material is removed to achieve the desired result.
Printing with FDM method
We print materials using the FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) method, where plastic filaments are melted and layered to form the final part.
The advantages of the FDM method include cost-effectiveness, ease of use, design flexibility, fast prototype production, and minimal material waste.
FDM printing is widely used in consumer products and spare parts, where durability and cost-efficiency are important.
Printing with resin
Another printing method we use is resin printing, which is a slightly more expensive solution than FDM printing. It uses liquid UV-curable resin, which hardens layer by layer under UV light.
Our resin printer can use materials like rigid resins, suitable for mechanically durable parts, flexible resins, ideal for soft and impact-resistant components, and biodegradable resins, suitable for environmentally friendly applications. These materials are slightly more expensive than those suitable for FDM printing.
A resin printer produces more precise results than FDM printing. With features like 20×26 micron resolution, our printer enables highly fine and accurate prints. With features like 20×26 micron resolution, our printer enables highly fine and accurate prints. Due to its precision and material options, this printer is well-suited for industrial small components, medical devices, and technological prototypes where high detail accuracy and various material choices are required.

FACTS: Our 3D printing services offer many benefits for our customers
- Design flexibility: 3D printing allows for the creation of complex and custom shapes that are difficult or impossible to manufacture with traditional methods like machining. Using AI-based design, we can optimize part designs, enhancing their strength and reducing material usage. This makes printed parts more efficient for their intended purpose.
- Short lead times: Prototyping is fast, speeding up the project and ensuring that we can quickly demonstrate new parts for customer machines.
- Less material waste: 3D printing reduces material waste because material is added layer by layer. This results in less waste compared to traditional manufacturing methods where material is removed. This makes 3D printing significantly more sustainable by minimizing raw material consumption.
- Cost-effectiveness in small batches: 3D printing is often a cost-effective option, especially for producing individual parts without needing expensive moulds or tools. This ensures cost-effective machine parts for our customers.
- Customization: 3D printing allows parts to be customized to individual customer needs, enabling unique solutions for our clients.
- Rapid prototyping: Our designers can quickly create and test prototypes made with 3D printing, facilitating an iterative development process.
- Logistics optimization: With 3D printing, we can produce necessary parts quickly in-house, reducing part transportation costs and the time spent on production and delivery.
